Welcome to TakeGo (operating through the domain takego.pt). By using our platform, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before using our services.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the TakeGo platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you should not use our services.

2. Service Description

TakeGo is a SaaS (Software as a Service) platform providing POS (Point of Sale), KDS (Kitchen Display System) and Delivery management solutions for restaurants, cafes and food establishments. The service includes a management backoffice, integration with delivery platforms and invoicing tools.

3. Account Registration & Responsibilities

To use TakeGo, you must create an account providing truthful and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities carried out under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use.

4. Subscription & Payments

TakeGo operates on a monthly subscription model with a flat fee. There are no hidden costs or commissions on sales. Payment is due at the beginning of each billing period. In case of non-payment, access to the service may be suspended after prior notification.

5. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time, with no lock-in period or penalties. After cancellation, access is maintained until the end of the already-paid period. Your data will be retained for 30 days after cancellation, allowing you to reactivate your account if desired.

6. Intellectual Property

All software, design, logos, text and content on the TakeGo platform are the property of TakeGo or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute or reverse-engineer any part of the platform without prior written authorisation.

7. Limitation of Liability

TakeGo will make every effort to keep the service available and functional. However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. TakeGo shall not be liable for indirect losses, lost profits or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the service.

8. Data Protection

The processing of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the platform, you consent to the collection and processing of data as described in that policy, in compliance with the GDPR.

9. Changes to Terms

TakeGo reserves the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will be communicated by email and/or notification on the platform at least 30 days in advance. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by applicable law. Any dispute arising from the use of the platform shall be submitted to the competent courts of the jurisdiction where the service is provided.
